Aspire: Catholic Teacher Development is a community of recent graduates, current and prospective students of the Faculty of Education gathered together through Windsor Campus Ministry. The aim of the program is to provide support, faith development, and volunteer opportunities to aspiring Catholic teachers in Windsor-Essex County.
This comprehensive youth ministry provides catechesis and religious formation for children, ages 8-18. Beginning September 24th, Each Monday night from 6:00pm – 8:00pm, children gather for a common meal, followed by small group gatherings according to their age.
Every Sunday at the 11:00am and 7:30pm Masses, the children’s liturgy team provides engaging lessons of the Gospel to children, ages JK – Gr. 2. Beginning September 23rd, volunteers will be scheduled to teach 1-3 classes a month and resources for the lessons will be provided.
The Retreat Team develops and facilitates Day Retreats for secondary school students in the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board based on the Ontario Catholic School Graduate Expectations.
“Discovery” Faith StudyHave questions about your faith? Looking to make God more relevant in your life?
Faith studies allow students to come together once a week to share and grow in our faith. “Discovery” will lead you through a simple but personally challenging look at the Gospel message.
Session 1: Tuesday evenings 6:00pm, beginning October 2nd; Session 2: January TBD.
Volunteers are needed to facilitate a Homework Club for Catholic Elementary School students. Beginning the week of September 24th, Monday to Thursday from 3:00pm – 4:00pm.
